Position Overview:
We're seeking an experienced Oracle/SQL Database Engineer with strong systems administration background to join an elite IT team supporting mission-critical operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced technology while maintaining crucial database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain Oracle and SQL databases ensuring optimal performance
• Implement system updates and security patches
• Develop automation scripts for deployment processes
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with engineering teams on system requirements
• Monitor database health and resolve performance issues
• Manage Windows and Linux systems

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance (must be willing to complete CI Polygraph)
• 6+ years of relevant experience in database administration
• Strong expertise in Oracle database administration (3+ years minimum)
• 4+ years of Windows/Linux systems administration experience
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with PowerShell scripting
• Ability to travel 30% and lift 20 lbs

Preferred Skills:

• RHEL 7/8, CentOS, or Ubuntu experience
• CCNA/CCNP certification
• VMware virtualization experience
• Ansible automation experience
• Commvault backup system knowledge
• NIST RMF experience
