Compensation and Benefits

Role Overview
As a Herman Miller Seating Store General Manager, you will guide and educate through demonstration and fit journeys, deliver exceptional client experiences, coach your team, and achieve sales goals. You will also manage store operations, including hiring, performance management, and merchandising, reporting to the Regional Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Hire, develop, lead, and motivate the team through coaching, feedback, and training.
- Foster the Herman Miller Client Experience.
- Manage performance and ensure store standards are met.
- Oversee operational procedures to maximize profit and control expenses.
- Resolve employee relations issues in partnership with HR.
- Deliver and exceed Sales Plan.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of retail management experience.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire team demonstrations in high traffic environments.
- High personal performance standards, integrity, and continuous improvement drive.
- Relationship-building skills with team, peers, and clients.
- Financial literacy and business acumen.
- Proficiency with POS systems, MS Office, web navigation, and 3-D rendering programs.
- Ability to lift objects over 20 pounds and adhere to safety standards.
