BarkSuds is a professional dog grooming salon dedicated to delivering top-notch grooming services in a friendly and welcoming environment. We’re seeking a highly organized, dog lover and customer-oriented Salon Manager to join our team. Position Summary:
The Salon Manager will be the welcoming face of BarkSuds and play a key role in maintaining smooth operations at the front desk and behind the scenes. This person will handle customer relations, manage appointments, supervise daily tasks, and ensure the salon is always clean, stocked, and running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate salon staff to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals.
• Answer phones and schedule grooming appointments.
• Welcome walk-in clients and check dogs in and out.
• Manage and organize appointments in our scheduling software.
• Return calls and respond to emails and messages from clients.
• Sell grooming services and retail items, promoting our offerings.
• Manage staff hourly worksheets and assist with scheduling.
• Maintain a clean and tidy lobby (vacuum, mop, and clean surfaces).
• Oversee the cleanliness of the salon’s back area.
• Track and manage inventory of grooming supplies.

Qualifications:

• Experience in customer service or front desk roles, ideally in a pet grooming or salon environment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing salon operations.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
• Love for dogs and ability to create a positive atmosphere for both pets and clients.
• MUST have dog salon experience. Familiar with Daysmart is a plus!

Pay rate: $17-20/hour + tips

Work Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, from 8:30am to 5pm.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
