VP - SLOT OPERATIONS
Operational Oversight: Lead the day-to-day operations of the Slot Department, coordinating initiatives, setting goals, and monitoring performance.
Compliance & Regulation: Ensure all department activities comply with relevant policies and regulatory standards, including National Indian Gaming Commission and federal requirements.
Slot Performance & Maintenance: Assess and enhance the layout and functionality of slot machines, implement slot modifications, and develop preventive maintenance processes to minimize downtime.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze key performance data, create reports, and share insights with management to improve operations and profitability.
Team Leadership: Mentor and develop team members, ensuring growth opportunities and maintaining a high standard of customer service. Build a strong succession plan by identifying potential leaders within the department.
Marketing & Promotions: Collaborate on new marketing initiatives to enhance slot offerings and engage guests.
Guest Relations: Foster positive relationships with guests, ensuring an exceptional gaming experience and increasing guest retention.
Responsible Gaming: Promote responsible gaming practices and prevent underage gambling and alcohol consumption.
Public Relations & Communication: Maintain positive public and employee relations, ensuring transparent and effective communication across all levels.
Safety & Cleanliness: Ensure a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment for both employees and guests.
Special Projects & Other Duties: Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as needed.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 10 years of slot experience, including at least 2 years in a director-level or higher role.
In-depth experience with slot systems (e.g., Bally SDS, CMP, Live Floor View) and performance analytics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong background in developing department policies and improving operational efficiency.
Proven ability to build, train, and mentor high-performing teams.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
Familiarity with mathematical concepts such as statistical analysis and budgeting.
Work Environment:
While most duties are performed in an office setting, you will occasionally need to be on the casino floor. The environment can include exposure to secondhand smoke, loud noises, and other casino-related factors. The role also requires physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Additional Information:
