Position Overview

The Project Architect will lead both the technical and creative development of mid-to-large scale projects, overseeing all phases from schematic design through construction administration. This role requires strategic design leadership, client communication, and project management expertise to ensure every project meets the firm’s standards for quality, innovation, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership

• Lead schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.

• Integrate structural, MEP, and architectural systems into cohesive design solutions.

• Ensure design intent aligns with client objectives, project budgets, and schedules.

Project Management

• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal team members.

• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and construction administration.

• Oversee QA/QC processes and ensure technical excellence in documentation.

Technical Oversight

• Conduct code and zoning analysis for design compliance.

• Review and approve detailed technical drawings and specifications.

• Resolve complex design and construction challenges with creativity and precision.

Team Leadership

• Mentor and supervise junior architects and designers.

• Foster a collaborative studio culture focused on professional growth and design excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).

• Licensed Architect (Florida registration required).

• 6–15 years of experience in architectural practice on mid-to-large scale projects.

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam .

• Strong understanding of building systems, codes, and construction processes.

• Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills.

• Prior experience in entertainment or hospitality design is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and lead design teams.

Compensation & Benefits
