Part-Time Optometrist (O.D.)

An established, financially strong medical optometry practice in Kissimmee is seeking a Part-Time Medical Optometrist (O.D.) to join their growing team. This is a medical office setting (no retail pressure, no sales quotas) focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

• $88–$92 per hour
• Flexible schedule – choose 2–3 weekdays (Monday–Friday only)

Clinical Focus

This is a medical optometry role with an emphasis on diagnosing and managing ocular disease. Responsibilities include:

• Comprehensive eye exams
• Medical eye care (glaucoma, diabetic eye exams, macular degeneration, dry eye management)
• Diagnosis and treatment of ocular conditions
• Co-management with ophthalmology when appropriate
• Prescribing corrective lenses and medications
• EMR documentation
• Patient education and continuity of care

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
• Active Florida Optometry License
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Comfortable managing medical optometry cases
• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills

Experience in medical optometry preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.
