Data Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Immediate Medical Care. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our data infrastructure to support our urgent care and primary care services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure smooth data flow
- Optimize and tune database systems for performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity
- Develop data models and schemas to support business requirements
- Implement data security and privacy best practices
- Monitor data systems and troubleshoot issues when necessary
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience in data engineering, ETL development, and database management
- Strong SQL skills and experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Desired Experience:
- 1+ year of experience in a data engineering role
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations is a plus
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $89,000 - $110,000 per year
