Lead Patient Financial Representative

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $20.52 - $25.65 / hour
Summary
Provides support to management and staff in the daily operations of inpatient and outpatient billing and collections to promote positive customer and employee relations and optimize management of accounts receivables. Extensive knowledge of billing guidelines and regulations needed to identify and resolve issues that impact timely reimbursement along with educating the staff of changes. Provides education to staff of current Provides leadership and guidance to staff in the absence of management. Resource and subject matter expert in job role for peer-to-peer support.
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.
Experience: 3 years Patient Registration/Business Office required.
Certification: Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS-I) preferred.
License: N/A
Other: Communication and interpersonal skills required. General computer and data entry skills, excellent customer service skills, ability to problem solve, trouble shoot and operate office equipment (phone, fax, and copier). Familiar with Medical terminology.
