Purpose of the Role:

  • Coordinate internal and external Mawer Capital events including the outreach booking of Rudy Mawer to local and international events
  • Coordinate the process from start to finish of all events.
  • Lead generation of external events for Rudy Mawer to attend.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate events, including meetings, conferences, and social gatherings.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.
  • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure services and products.
  • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, and transportation.
  • Manage event timelines and ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Oversee on-site event setup, execution, and breakdown.
  • Handle any issues or challenges that may arise during events and find effective solutions.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the success of events and implement improvements for future events.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with a creative flair for event design.
  • Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
  • Flexibility to travel To and From events , for client meetings and team meetings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
