Senior Accountant

• Advance-level accounting knowledge (from Cash-basis through Accrual accounting), understands GAAP, and can apply theory practically to everyday accounting
• Strategic - can assess information and determine a go-forward path to resolution
• Analytical and critical thinker – can think outside the box, think through complex situations, recognize there is always a solution, and find the win-win
• Deeply understands financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow, Trial Balance, and more) and can analyze and provide guidance to customers and the Xendoo team
• Strong expertise in accounting software flow and can troubleshoot errors
• Proficient in explaining complex accounting in simple terms to customers and Xendoo team
• Is a great communicator in written and verbal form and understands the importance of communication
• A problem solver who takes action, believes in following the process, is excited about helping others, and asks for help when needed
• Is detailed – understands the how and the why, and will dig deeper to get to the answer
• Collaborative – enjoys working as a team
• Confident – believes in their ability, and knowledge, while knowing their strengths

• Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university
• 5+ years’ experience in full cash-basis and accrual-basis accounting cycles: bookkeeping, A/P and A/R, journal entries, monthly and year-end close, financial statement review and analysis
• Be flexible and embrace change

• Possess the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
• Be confident and strive towards daily improvement
