Title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer I - Federal Projects (HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Protection)

Location: Jupiter, FL. (33477) OR Orlando, FL (32801)

Relocation Package Available

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000

Founded in 2005, we are a multidisciplinary engineering firm based in South Florida with offices in various states consisting of a little over 100 employees. We specialize in providing innovative mechanical, electrical, plumbing & fire protection (MEP / FP) engineering solutions for a wide range of project types - including federal, healthcare, hospitality, mixed-use, and high-end residential developments. We are looking to add a talented Mechanical Engineer with Federal experience to join our team in Jupiter Florida!

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead the mechanical design team for federal projects , including VA medical centers and hospitals.
• Develop and manage construction documents using Revit , including flow diagrams , plans, sections, specifications, and equipment schedules.
• Perform HVAC load calculations and equipment sizing (AHU's, chillers, cooling towers, compressors, etc).
• Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and condition assessments to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with teams (civil structural, electrical, controls, architectural) to ensure cohesive project documentation.
• Support projects from conceptual planning through construction completion.

What You Need For This Position

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection), preferably with federal and healthcare projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida or ability to obtain via NCEES Record.
• Proficiency in Revit and HVAC load calculation software. (Trane Trace, Carrier HAP, Elite)
• Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - for effective collaboration and documentation.
