Senior Webflow Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled and visionary Senior Webflow Developer to lead and evolve our Webflow development practice. As a senior team member, you will play a strategic and hands‑on role in building exceptional web experiences, optimizing development workflows, mentoring junior developers, and helping position our agency as a top‑tier Webflow authority.

This is a leadership role that requires deep technical expertise, creative problem‑solving, and a forward‑thinking mindset. You’ll collaborate directly with leadership, designers, and strategists to deliver polished, scalable, and performance‑optimized websites that reflect innovation, brand excellence, and technical precision. Your contributions will shape not only our projects but also the direction and scalability of the Webflow division as we grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Project Execution:
  • Lead complex Webflow projects from planning through deployment, ensuring best practices in development, responsive design, performance optimization, and accessibility.
  • Own the build and maintenance of custom, scalable Webflow websites and components across a variety of clients and industries.
  • Maintain and enforce high standards for code quality, user experience, and technical performance.
• Innovation, Optimization & Strategy:
  • Stay ahead of Webflow platform updates, web technologies, and industry trends; apply this knowledge to enhance workflows, streamline production, and improve quality.
  • Identify opportunities to innovate in the agency’s approach to Webflow and no‑code development, helping establish a competitive advantage.
  • Drive implementation of modern web development practices, including integration of APIs, third‑party tools, and advanced Webflow features (CMS, eCommerce, animations, etc.).
• Mentor junior Webflow developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and training.
• Collaborate with leadership to define long‑term goals for the Webflow department and contribute to hiring and talent development efforts.
• Contribute to internal tooling and documentation that improves development efficiency and team consistency.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration :
  • Work closely with designers, strategists, and project managers to transform creative concepts into functional websites with pixel‑perfect precision.
  • Translate non‑technical ideas into development‑ready solutions, ensuring both business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Advocate for scalable solutions that reduce technical debt and promote long‑term maintainability.
• Process Development & Quality Assurance :
  • Define and enforce QA processes including cross‑browser/device testing, performance benchmarks, SEO standards, and accessibility compliance.
  • Help implement standardized workflows, version control (e.g. with tools like Git or Figma‑to‑Webflow systems), and automation to increase speed and reliability.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 3 - 5+ years of hands‑on experience building advanced Webflow websites in a professional setting, preferably within an agency or fast‑paced environment.
  
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert‑level Webflow development skills, including CMS structuring, custom animations, interactions, and responsive design.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with APIs, Zapier, Make, and third‑party integrations.
• Deep understanding of SEO best practices, performance optimization, and accessibility standards.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire other developers, while contributing to team‑wide growth and development.
• Problem Solving: Advanced troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
• Project Management: Comfortable managing multiple projects with competing priorities, while maintaining a strong sense of ownership and delivery focus.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to clearly articulate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with version control (Git), headless CMS integration, or JAMstack architecture.
• Familiarity with other no‑code tools (e.g. Framer, Wix, Memberstack, Jetboost).
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum frameworks.
