Responsibilities

Here we GROW again! Our Mayo Clinic Radiology department continues to grow in innovation, education, and technology. As we continue to add the most advanced, high technology scanners to our fleet, we are looking for amazing Ultrasound Technologists to join our team. Our Ultrasound Technologists autonomously performs high quality, advanced diagnostic ultrasound imaging required for tertiary care in outpatient and inpatient settings, including abdominal, vascular, abdominal vasculature, small parts, and OBGYN exams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Sonography Program and /or ARDMS registered or registry eligible.
• One year of experience as a Sonographer preferred.
• Associate degree or above preferred
• ARDMS registered or registry eligible in the areas of abdomen, obstetrics/gynecology (OB/GYN) and vascular technology (RVT).
• ARDMS registered in Abdomen, Obgyn, and RVT within 18 months of Mayo employment.
• Each certification should be achieved every 6 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of start date.

Schedule Details

40 hrs/pay period, 10hr shifts. Weekday start times vary (6:30a – 9a), rotating weekends (every 3rd–4th) with varied start times (6:30a – 10a). Includes periodic backup call, occasional off-shift coverage, and 1-2 holidays per year.Requires 80 hrs/pay period for training (6-10 mos)
