Boca Raton Insurance Defense Law Firm is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of full-time in office Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary. The law firm offers a competitive salary that is dependent on experience and we offer excellent benefits. This is an in-person job where the employee works in our Boca Raton, FL office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Transcription of dictation (must be proficient typist)
- Scheduling for attorneys, depositions, hearings, meetings, etc.
- E-service filings
- Answering phones/Taking messages
- Monitoring attorney's emails and e-filings
- Communicating with clients
- Inputting billable hours in the system
Candidate Qualities:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a legal assistant/legal secretary
- Strong work ethic
- Punctual and Reliable
- Organizational skills
- Typing proficiency - 45-60 WPM
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not a requirement for the job
