We are looking for an experienced Tax Accountant to join our team in Hollywood, Florida. In this role, you will apply your expertise in tax preparation and compliance to manage a variety of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients.
Responsibilities:• Prepare and file accurate individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities and minimize liabilities for clients.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide guidance on tax-related matters.
• Conduct thorough reviews of tax filings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
• Assist in resolving tax-related issues and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize tax processes and improve efficiency.
• Provide detailed reports and documentation for tax audits and reviews.
• Maintain organized records of tax filings and client communications.
• Support the team with additional accounting tasks as required.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Current Enrolled Agent (EA) certification, with preference for candidates holding additional relevant designations.
• Proven experience in preparing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and related tools.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
