Demolition Estimator

The Florida Division is seeking an experienced Demolition Estimator to join our team. Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors to support project success.
• Review project proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate estimates.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits (some travel required) to assess job site conditions and project scope.
• Interpret and analyze project specifications and drawings.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for labor, equipment, and materials.
• Identify project approach, resource requirements, and timelines for each estimate.
• Calculate costs by analyzing labor, equipment, materials, and time requirements.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals.
• Lead estimate turnover processes for successful bids and manage change orders as needed.
• Document and evaluate historical cost data to inform future estimates.
• Analyze and mitigate project risks in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Contribute to team goals by supporting related tasks as needed.
• Utilize HCSS, Primavera, and Excel for estimating and project management tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in demolition estimating or a related construction field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency with HCSS, Primavera, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
