POSITION TITLE:

• Customer Service Representative

JOB LOCATION:

• City Hall.
• City of Zephyrhills.

SALARY RANGE:

• Starting Salary: $31,200.00 / $15.00/hr.
• Pay Grade Z-150.
• Non-Exempt.

FAIR LABOR STANDARDS ACT STATUS: Applicable.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Applicant must have experience in modern office practices and procedures including the operation of computers, phones, calculators, and other standard office equipment.
• Must have past experience handling money.
• Knowledge of utility billing procedures and utility collections preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow oral/written instruction and establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the public.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

• Provides customer service in matters involving utilities, in person and by phone, receives and processes payments, receives and resolves customer complaints, processes utility work orders and consumption reports, scans and files.
• Assists visitors to City Hall by locating and distributing materials, providing direction, and answering questions.
• Completes other related duties as assigned.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

• The selected candidate will have a background check, credit check, and physical exam completed before employment.
• Possession and maintenance of a Florida driver license is also required before employment.

The compensation package will start at the base salary range and may vary based on proven abilities of the individual selected. The City of Zephyrhills has an excellent benefit package, which includes medical, dental, life insurance, and Florida Retirement System (FRS).
