Disaster Restoration Technician
Location: Miami, Florida
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $18–$25 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary:
Are you ready to be the helping hand people need after disaster strikes? We are seeking a Disaster Restoration Technician to join our growing team in Miami, Florida. You’ll be on the front lines restoring homes and businesses affected by fire, water, smoke, mold, and other emergencies. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, challenging environments and wants to make a direct impact in their community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and document damage caused by water, fire, mold, or smoke

• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and humidity control

• Conduct deep cleaning, disinfection, and deodorization

• Use specialized equipment such as dehumidifiers, air movers, ozone machines, and more

• Maintain accurate records including photos and job reports

• Ensure safety compliance and proper handling of biohazard materials

• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients

• Be available for emergency call-outs if needed

Qualifications:

• Prior restoration or remediation experience is a plus, but not required

• Comfortable using industrial cleaning and drying equipment

• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding conditions

• Valid driver’s license required

• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail

• Willingness to learn and grow with a supportive team
