We are a Florida law firm that has been in the business of helping people for 35 years. Our practice focuses on helping disabled veterans. We help people who the government has been pushing around. Job Description: This position is critical in assisting the attorneys directly with writing arguments, preparing files for doctors to review and reviewing client files to provide historical timelines of events. Professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality in regard to sensitive information are all requirements. This position also requires that an individual is apt to identifying deadlines and reacting accordingly to necessary workload adjustments to ensure that files are handled properly and in a timely manner.

• Average to above average computer skills
• College Degree preferred, or comparable work history in the legal or medical field
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Experience in the legal field is preferred.

Training is provided. Individuals who have experience in any of the following areas have proven successful: legal field, medical field, social services, professional writing, claims/case management. In addition, individuals who demonstrate a passion for helping others and a drive for lifelong learning are strong candidates for this role.

Starting salary based on experience and level of expertise: $42,000-$45,000 a year

Benefits after 90 day probationary period:

85% of individual employee premiums paid for health insurance

90 Days up to one year - Up to 112.50 Hours (through progression)
Two to three years - 112.50 Hours
Four to nine years - 150.00 Hours
10 years or more - 187.50 Hours
Plus 9 Paid Holidays

Required education:

• Associate Degree or above, or comparable work history in the legal or medical field
