Infrastructure Engineer (Remote - US)

One of our companies is currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer in the United States .

This role is perfect for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who thrives in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure. You will work with minimal supervision, focusing on automation, monitoring, security, and operational readiness to ensure robust platform performance. Your responsibilities include collaborating with architecture and network teams, handling incident resolution, and driving continuous improvement of infrastructure systems. This position demands strong expertise in cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, container orchestration, infrastructure-as-code, and production system troubleshooting.

Accountabilities:

• Design and implement reference architectures for cloud infrastructure and automation standards
• Collaborate with architects and network/security teams to optimize connectivity, security, and cloud environments
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions for system outages
• Develop and maintain automated provisioning, monitoring, and self-healing infrastructure processes
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and documentation for infrastructure engineering practices
• Support system patching schedules and serve as an escalation point for critical operational issues

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5–7 years of relevant experience with 3–5 years in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
• Proficiency with Kubernetes (AKS, EKS) and container orchestration tools
• Expertise in configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Packer
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, especially Terraform
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python, plus experience managing YAML, Helm, and Kustomize
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as New Relic, Azure Insights, or AWS CloudWatch
• Linux system administration experience in cloud environments
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in remote, collaborative teams
• Certifications in Azure or AWS are preferred

• Competitive salary range: $96,000–$120,000 USD
