Printer Technical Sales Support Specialist

TyrrellTech is looking for a mechanically minded employee to help with technical service and sales in Central Florida. This position is for hands-on technical service of equipment, it is not telecommunications nor IT support, however some background in those areas may help with over the phone trouble shooting.

We are looking for someone who would start out learning the inner-workings of our product lines, their technical specifications and service needs. This position then offers growth potential to those who would like to learn and succeed. The company is willing to train a new employee to learn the position and the company’s processes.

This job will include learning a lot of machine information and talking with customers. The proper candidate will need to feel comfortable talking with people both on the phone and in person. TyrrellTech supports and services the machines that we sell and the service/salesperson is expected to stay in close contact with machine owners for the life of their machine, to offer the best support in the industry. This job will require organization, attention to detail, and multitasking. This employee will work in the office and outside of the office, so they will need to manage their time and workload to be as effective and productive as possible in an outside sales and service position.

We are looking for someone with organizational skills, good time management, a willingness to manage and complete paperwork, and a conscientious attitude. The proper candidate for this position will be good with their hands, high energy, and have basic computer skills. We need a candidate who feels they have a good mechanical and troubleshooting aptitude, that will rise to the challenge of solving a service problem when faced with a mechanical/service issue.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. We would prefer that the candidate have a high school diploma or equivalent 2 years of experience.
