County, becoming one of the largest socially transformative music initiatives in US.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Development Data Entry position is responsible for working closely with the Development Team to input data and make changes to existing data figures in online/digital databases, primarily in regard to The
Children's Trust Grant. Data tracking is specific to monitoring youth and family-related program outcomes and assistance with ensuring that all program contracts are in compliance (e.g., data is up-to-date and accurate for youth and family services; documentation is maintained in an appropriate fashion).
RESPONSIBILITIES
? Responsible for ensuring that all program data is collected and maintained in the appropriate electronic record system(s) (e.g., grant reimbursements, training, attendance, outcome measurement tools, etc.)
? Responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of program and participant records and that all data/documentation is complete
? Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
? Maintains data entry requirements and all deadlines for data by following data program techniques, procedures and timelines
? Maintains and protects operations by keeping information confidential
? Record keeping/reporting - Ensure that adequate program and participant records are maintained and that reports and paperwork are completed, as required
? Ensure that all data is in compliance
? Assist with contracts (e.g., state and federal grants, etc.)
? Provide program/administrative support when necessary
? Communicate regularly with the Programming Department to be up-to-date on any changes in the field
? Assists with preparation of reports for grantors/donors summarizing program performance and outcomes
? Assists with updating performance dashboards summarizing program performance monthly
? Create and update spreadsheets as needed to track important information
? Search for and investigate information contained in student files
? Works with system administrators to update data collection and tracking systems as needed within the agency's electronic record system
? Assist with special projects that require large amounts of data entry as needed
? Review data for deficiencies or errors and make appropriate corrections
? Type in data quickly and efficiently
? Actively participate in staff development workshops and trainings that are designed to contribute to personal and professional growth
This position will be up to 25 hours per week, depending on the workload and will include not include Paid Time Off either earned or holiday. Hours will be Monday through Friday (except holidays). Position may be remote, but requires high levels of confidentiality.
QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRED SKILLS
? Proven experience at data entry
? Prior experience with The Children's Trust Data Entry preferred
? Attend the Children's Trust quarterly meetings
? Record keeping/reporting - Ensure that adequate program and participant records are maintained and that reports and paperwork are completed, as required.
? Organization skills, attention to detail, confidentiality
? Fast typing skills; knowledge of touch-typing is strongly preferred
? Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
? Good command of English both oral and written
? Ability to handle confidential information appropriately and professionally
? Knowledge and comfort with technology/online data systems
? Strong verbal and written communication skills
? Positive, team-oriented attitude

? Ability to work flexible hours as required

? High school diploma required, college degree preferred
? 2 to 4 years' experience with grants or administrative work
? Basic computer skills required: Microsoft Office/Word/ Excel/Using online systems
? Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation
? Must pass drug screening and Level 2 background check
