Learning Solutions Team Lead

**About the Role**
The Learning Solutions Team Lead supports the Learning Solutions Architect by guiding people and processes so that content development flows smoothly from kickoff through handoff. In this role, you will lead a small network of SME’s, provide day‑to‑day direction, clear project roadblocks early, and follow the escalation protocol to keep your projects healthy. You will use established project management tools to launch, execute, monitor, control, and wrap all projects.
This role is ideal for an educator (5+ years) who has strong leadership skills, steady communication, and supportive coaching....in remote working environments.

**This is a 100% remote, contract, position**
**What You Will Do**
Lead People & Foster a Supportive Environment
* Set a positive tone; model collaborative, solutions‑first communication.
* Give clear instructions, priorities, and deadlines; host brief stand‑ups/check‑ins.
* Coach education subject matter experts (as needed) on client expectations.
* Anticipate stress points in a project; de‑escalate tactfully and keep momentum.
Coordinate SMEs & Content Flow
* Serve as the primary contact for SMEs and content contributors.
* Answer routine instructional/content questions and route complex questions to the right owner.
* With automation support, track deliverables; confirm completeness, alignment, and readiness for the next stage.
Run the Workflow (Using PMO Tools & Automations)
* Launch tasks at kickoff, maintain dashboards, and keep statuses current.
* Send automated nudges, organize shared folders, and maintain version control.
* Flag risks early; propose options; escalate promptly when decisions are needed.
**Qualifications**
_Required_
* Bachelor's or higher degree, preferably in education, science, or allied health
* 5 or more years working in the education sector (teaching, instructional coaching, or similar).
* 5 or more years of demonstrated people leadership: leading teams, guiding SMEs, or coordinating groups toward shared outcomes.
* Excellent written communication; clear, calm, and professional under deadlines.
* Strong organization; able to manage multiple projects, small teams, and overlapping timelines.
* Comfortable with AI‑assisted workflows and collaboration platforms
* Comfortable handling 15-20 projects (of varying size) annually.
_Preferred_
* Experience coordinating SMEs, Instructional Designers, or reviewers on content or curriculum work.
* Proficient project management skills/experience (timeline coordination, risk/issue tracking, change handling)
* Familiarity with K–12 or higher‑ed standards and instructional materials (e.g., scope/sequence, lesson/assessment structures).

**Schedule & Work Environment**
* Fully remote; flexible scheduling (as needed support) aligned to client milestones.
* Work within a supportive project management office structure with clear tools, templates, and reviews.
* Weekly short check‑ins with the Learning Solutions Architect; written updates and asynchronous collaboration are standard and expected.
