**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining composure during unexpected events.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
+ Report and document any suspicious behavior, incidents, or hazards encountered during patrols.
+ Collaborate with retail or mall management and Allied Universal team members to address concerns or incidents as they arise.
+ Assist in guiding visitors and/or tenants, providing directions and answering questions to enhance their experience at the location.
+ Support emergency evacuation procedures and assist first responders as needed.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Being at least 21 years of age is required.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
