RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM on a 4x10 schedule
• 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible
• 2+ years of operating room experience required with strength in Orthopedics, Neurology, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, and Urology
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• CNOR certification preferred
• Cerner experience required
• Expected to float between campuses as needed
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care planning
• Work as part of surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, ORTs, and other personnel
• Ensure supplies and timeliness of cases
• Communicate with patient families
• Update physician preference cards
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care
• Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, regulatory requirements, physician orders, and hospital policies
