Legal Assistant - Foreclosure Sales & Post‑Sales
- Prepare and file foreclosure sale documents, notices, bidding instructions, and confirmations
- Coordinate with courts, sheriffs, master commissioners, auctioneers, and vendors
- Track foreclosure sale timelines and ensure all steps are completed accurately and on time
- Conduct bankruptcy and military status searches
- Support attorneys and respond to client inquiries
- Review property details, legal descriptions, taxes, and lien information
- Maintain accurate updates in the Case Management System and client portals
- Handle post‑sale tasks including deeds, surplus funds, and confirmation filings
- Perform e‑filing, mailing, and other administrative duties as needed
- 1–3 years of experience as a legal assistant (foreclosure experience preferred)
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time‑management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
- Familiarity with foreclosure sales processes is a plus
- Paralegal certificate or degree preferred
- Office‑based role requiring extended computer use and multitasking across multiple monitors
