Salary: $140,000 - $165,000 per year A bit about us: Jobot is seeking an experienced Senior Professional Engineer (PE) with a strong background in fiber optics and telecommunications for a leading engineering consulting firm. This role will play a key part in designing, reviewing, and overseeing complex telecom infrastructure projects. 2. Overseeing all aspects of broadband projects, from initial planning to implementation.
3. Utilizing your RUS expertise to ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations and standards.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize network performance and efficiency.
5. Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
6. Conducting regular network performance audits and implementing necessary improvements.
7. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our company remains at the forefront of the telecommunications industry. Qualifications: To qualify for this role, you must have: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
2. A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with a particular focus on broadband projects and Fiber Optical Distribution Networks.
4. Demonstrated expertise in RUS standards and regulations.
5. Proven experience in designing and developing multiple fiber OSP.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
7. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior engineers.
8. The ability to work remotely and effectively collaborate with a dispersed team.
