Sr SEC Reporting Analyst

Join the Kforce family and we will support you with expert training, innovative tools, an amazing culture, and a team of Great People that will cheer you on your road to success!SUMMARY:Under managerial direction, manage SEC/GAAP external reporting processes for Kforce Inc. and its subsidiaries; accountable for ensuring successfully execution, meeting the standards under GAAP and SEC requirements. This role will work closely with and leverage leadership across the CFO organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare and file all quarterly, annual and periodic SEC filings, including Form 10-K, Proxy Statement, Form 11-K, Form 10-Q, and Form 8-K as well as beneficial ownership Forms 3, 4 and 5, accurately and timely and in line with the applicable reporting requirementsAssist in the research and conclusion on GAAP/SEC accounting and external reporting issues, including the implementation of new Accounting Standard UpdatesAssist with external audit process and prepare effective audit documentation, where necessary.Deliver ad-hoc reporting as required.Assist with Firm and employee compliance with the insider trading policy.Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance process as deemed necessary.Participate in month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes (in areas where there is judgment or specialty needed)Assist with the preparation of executive compensation materials.Assist with equity and stock-based compensation accounting, including tax implications.Partner with the Tax department regarding any other tax matters that may arise, as deemed necessary.Participate in assigned special projects, as deemed necessary.Partner with the accounting and finance operations teams, as appropriateSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:None required. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting and 4-7 years related work experience. Strong technical GAAP accounting, SEC reporting, and financial analysis knowledge required. In addition, the following experience is required: auditing and/or working for an SEC registrant, with an emphasis on financial reporting, internal controls, audit and SOX compliance. The following experience is preferred: combination of private and public accounting experience, public accounting with a national accounting firm and accounting operationsCERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES:Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.Kforce is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer.
