Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a middle school in Navarre, FL, offering a focused and manageable caseload. This contract role is designed for professionals seeking specialized work with middle school students in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to two middle school students, dedicating one hour per week (30 minutes per student).
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate speech therapy goals into the educational environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports in accordance with school protocols.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLP certification with experience in school-based settings.
- Proficiency in evaluating and treating speech and language disorders in middle school-aged children.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, educators, and families.
- Ability to work independently within a structured schedule.
Location:
- Middle school setting in Navarre, Florida.
