Cabot Citrus Farms
Cabot’s first American property, Cabot Citrus Farms, is set across 1,200 acres of pristine natural beauty in the Central-West region of Florida, aptly known as the Nature Coast. Offering dramatic elevation changes, sandy soil, and rolling hills canopied by towering sand pines, palmetto trees, and century-old moss-covered oaks, the unique landscape is enchanting. With two 18-hole golf courses, one 10-hole course, an 11-hole par-3 course, and an unparalleled practice facility, Cabot Citrus Farms is the ultimate golf adventure. In addition to golf, the property offers luxury accommodations, real estate opportunities, elevated food and beverage experiences, and off-course activities that include a Sport Club, a fishing pond, and sports courts, with a Pool and Racquet Club coming in the future.
Position Overview
A Food and Beverage Server plays a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences to guests. This role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction with a high level of professionalism and hospitality. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and attentive demeanor, and a commitment to upholding the resort’s luxury standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely, personalized, friendly, warm, and efficient food and beverage service at all outlets across the property.
- Highly knowledgeable in all Food and Beverage items available at Cabot Citrus Farms.
- Present a professional and highly personalized approach, reading your guests and anticipating their needs and dietary requests.
- Handle guest payments, including cash, credit cards, and room charges.
- Work with the F&B management team and associates to deliver guest satisfaction with dedication and professionalism.
- Uphold world-class standards of internal and external guest service.
- Ensure that overall cleanliness and maintenance of our restaurant exceed expectations.
- Maintain work area in an orderly and timely manner (clearing tables, refreshing beverages, removing food items).
- Detail-oriented, you are exceptionally well-organized.
- Complete setup, closing, and side duties promptly.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Bring any concerns to the attention of the Manager/Supervisor on duty (related to internal or external guests, food or service quality, operation of the room, and physical surroundings).
Qualifications
- High school diploma and/or experience in a related field preferred.
- Experience with information systems and inventory management.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
Working Conditions
- Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and wind.
- Communicate verbally with staff members and customers with/without the use of two-way radios.
- Ability to spend long hours moving around, walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, reaching, etc.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
