Automotive Used Car Technician

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics on used vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and safety issues
- Conduct repairs and maintenance, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and other systems
- Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure optimal performance
- Document all work performed accurately and maintain detailed service records
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding vehicle conditions and repair needs
- Adhere to safety standards and manufacturer specifications during all repair activities
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an automotive technician, specifically with used vehicles
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid automotive technician certification or relevant technical training
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
