Salary: $18 - $22 per hour A bit about us: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team on a contract-to-hire basis. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with manufacturing or production experience who are looking to grow their career in quality assurance. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. 2. Interpret and understand engineering drawings, ensuring all construction activities align with the specified plans.
3. Utilize metrology measuring tools to inspect and verify the accuracy of construction components and assemblies.
4. Perform drawing inspections and verify the Work Instruction (WI) requirements are met.
5. Carry out inspections for transmitters to guarantee their proper functioning and installation.
6. Collaborate with the construction team to address any quality-related issues and provide necessary solutions.
7. Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
8. Provide technical advice and support to the construction team, helping them understand the quality requirements and standards.
9. Continually monitor all construction processes and materials, identifying potential areas of improvement.
10. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the construction industry to enhance quality assurance processes. Qualifications: 1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Need to know Pivot Tables and Formulas
3. Solid understanding and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
4. Extensive experience with metrology measuring tools.
5. Familiarity with quality inspection procedures, including inspection for transmitters.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Knowledge of industry safety and quality standards.
