Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Provide skilled physical therapy services in a skilled nursing facility setting in Fort Myers, FL. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans to improve mobility and function, documenting progress, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams. Travel assignment support and recruiter assistance will be available.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Florida physical therapy license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience providing physical therapy in skilled nursing or post-acute settings is required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform patient evaluations, create individualized treatment plans, and provide restorative care to older adult populations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience is preferred.
• Experience with mobility aids, fall risk assessment, and restorative nursing programs is preferred.
