SUMMARY:

Service Runner is responsible for fulfilling guest requests and making deliveries in guest rooms in a timely manner. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to pull and push heavy loads. Distributes materials and assists housekeepers in cleaning the unit

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Respond to guest request in an efficient, productive and timely manner.
  • Assist guest with luggage or any belongings upon arrival and departure as requested.
  • Coordinate delivery and pick up of cribs, high chairs, ionizers and rollaway beds.
  • Deliver guest requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicles and closets.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). At least one year of customer service related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Ability to speak in English required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 1O's and 1OO's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Valid Florida Driver License

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

Bending, stooping, overall flexibility and lifting weight up to 1OO lbs Must be able to walk entire property

Ability to manage high levels of stress Visual observation skills required

Ability to interact with guests and team members

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to drive company vehicle
