Registered Nurse RN ICU Stepdown

We are seeking FT Registered Nurses to work within an Acute Inpatient Hospital and offering a generous sign-on bonus and additional relocation assistance!!

Position: Registered Nurse – ICU Stepdown

Location:  Sanford, FL

Schedule:  Full-Time | Days or Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced ICU Stepdown RN to join our team. This role is all about providing close, attentive care to patients who need frequent monitoring and support. You’ll work in a collaborative environment where nurses truly support one another, while making a difference in the lives of patients and their families.

What You’ll Do:

• Monitor patients requiring stepdown-level care, including drips and long-term vents
• Use your clinical judgment to respond quickly in critical situations
• Provide education and support to patients and families about treatments and medications
• Work closely with doctors and the care team to advocate for your patients
• Deliver safe, effective care in a 15-bed ICU Stepdown unit

Unit Details:

• 15-bed ICU Stepdown Unit
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 3:1

Compensation:

Shift differentials: $4.50/hr. nights; $1.50/hr. weekends

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (Day Shift) $20,000 (Night Shift)

Salary Range: Up to $46.28/hr. (based on experience)

Requirements

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of ICU Stepdown experience OR 3 years of Cardiac PCU or Multisystem PCU experience
• Active RN license
• ADN or Diploma required (BSN preferred)
• NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of hire
• BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 6 months
