Job Description: Our rapidly growing law firm has an immediate opening for a full-time litigation assistant. We specialize in representing people injured by defective medical devices, harmful medications, sexual assault and environmental disasters.

The litigation assistant is responsible for all duties necessary to prepare cases for litigation, settlement, and/or trial. Specific duties include:

• Build, maintain and manage cases for litigations assigned to you
• Prepare, file and serve legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, petitions and other correspondence
• Perform document review of medical records, employment records and medical bills to determine potential claims based on pre-determined case criteria
• Offer support and maintain consistent telephone and e-mail communications with clients
• Monitor statute of limitations and upcoming critical deadlines for each case
• Strategy meetings with attorneys and senior paralegals
• Additional projects as needed for your litigations

We will train you on all duties relevant to the state and federal legal system.

Location: This is a remote position, with weekly team meetings in person . Candidates must reside in the Pensacola area and be able to attend the weekly meetings.

Compensation Details:  Full-time salaried position. Competitive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, disability insurance, FSA/HSA plan, and a parking pass. This is a hybrid position with a requirement to be in the office at least two days a week.

• Strong Academic Performance
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Fluent with Microsoft Office and Google applications
