We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our vibrant team at Field of Greens. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently managing transactions. Your strong communication skills and attention to detail will ensure a positive shopping experience for all patrons in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their inquiries.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for processing transactions.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and retail math.
• Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and promote sales.
• Upsell products by effectively communicating features and benefits to customers.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandising display throughout the store.
• Assist with stocking shelves and ensuring inventory is well-presented and accessible.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or directing calls.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Open availability with weekends is required.
• Familiarity with cashiering procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with customers.
• Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this enhances our service capabilities.
• Experience in merchandising and stocking is a plus, contributing to effective store presentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A background in supervising experience is beneficial for those interested in leadership roles within the team.
