Senior Property Accountant
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Property Accountant in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities:
- Senior Property Accountant will prepare monthly financial statement packages
- Prepare and enter journal entries
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation in Yardi
- Prepare annual CAM/Real Estate Tax Escalations
- Enter lease abstracts into Yardi System
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts into Yardi System
- Assist with year-end audits and provide documentation to auditors
- As a Senior Property Accountant, you will assist with special projects as needed
- Accounts Receivable - Oversee A/R including which includes, billing tenants, track payments, and collections
- Accounts Payable - Process and manage accounts payable for property-related expenses, ensure proper invoice coding, process timely payment to vendors, investigate and reconcile vendor accounts
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
