Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a full-time Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting in Brooksville, FL. This position offers a contracted, school-year role with 37.5 hours per week, serving a diverse caseload across various age groups and populations. Detailed caseload information will be provided during the interview.

Key Qualifications:

• Certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Experience working with K-12 students who have visual impairments
• Strong ability to serve mixed age groups and diverse student populations
• Licensure as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) is a plus but not required
• Effective munication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with visual impairments
• Assess and address individual educational needs, adapting materials as necessary
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to ensure holistic student support
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and service delivery
• Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
