CDL-A OTR Truck Driver

10-4 Logistics USA seeks experienced CDL-A OTR truck drivers for long-haul assignments offering competitive pay, consistent home time, and modern equipment.

• Compensation: $0.50–$0.65 per mile based on experience and domicile, plus a performance bonus of $0.10 per mile paid weekly.
• Average weekly mileage: Approximately 2,500 miles.
• Home time / Schedule: Weekly or bi-weekly options with a 34–48 hour reset; typically drivers earn one day at home for every 5–6 days worked.
• Equipment and freight: Modern 2022–2025 Cascadia and Peterbilt tractors (automatic). Freight is primarily dry van, no-touch, with approximately 70% drop-and-hook operations.
• Primary responsibilities:
  • Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Transport dry van freight on assigned OTR routes, adhering to schedules and delivery instructions.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report defects or maintenance needs.
  • Maintain accurate driving logs, inspection records, and required maintenance documentation.
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch and customer sites.

• Minimum qualifications:
  • Meet one of the following experience criteria:
    • At least 3 months of verifiable OTR tractor-trailer experience plus completion of 120+ hours at a truck driving school within the past 12 months; or
    • 6 months of verifiable OTR/regional/local tractor-trailer experience within the last 12 months; or
    • 12 months of verifiable OTR experience within the last 3 years.
  • A valid CDL-A license.
  • Ability to meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements and to pass required drug screening.
  • Proficiency in English sufficient for safe operation and clear communication.
