Job Summary: Physical Therapist (Outpatient) Saint Petersburg, Florida
Outpatient Physical Therapist opportunities are available in Saint Petersburg, Florida. The role evaluates assigned patients, develops and updates individualized treatment plans and goals, and ensures clinical services are delivered in accordance with physician direction and applicable regulations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School; 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience; CPR Certification; active/applicable license for the State where work will be performed.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience completing an assignment with your agency previously; experience completing an assignment with the organization previously.
- Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and apply clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans and discharge-focused goals within an established length of stay; complete timely and accurate medical record documentation, including documentation, goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry using approved formats; ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and as indicated and necessary for clinical care; participate in student programming as assigned with appropriate supervision and learning objectives; create and maintain an individualized professional development plan, pursuing professional growth through continuing education, self-study, and professional activities; adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and other applicable regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and perform in alignment with discipline-specific professional codes of conduct; support organizational performance improvement initiatives by following action plans and providing feedback through appropriate channels; promote patient and employee safety through adherence to applicable safety policies and procedures.
