A privately held family office is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for multiple entities and personal portfolios. The ideal candidate will come from a public accounting (CPA firm) background and bring strong technical accounting skills, discretion, and a service-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledgers for multiple entities (LLCs, trusts, partnerships, investments)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
• Handle bank, investment, and credit card reconciliations
• Track intercompany transactions and allocations
• Coordinate with external CPA firms on tax filings and year-end reporting
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow tracking, and ad hoc financial analysis
• Support audit, tax, and compliance requests as needed
• Maintain accurate records for personal and business expenses
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy across all financial activities

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2–3 years of experience in public accounting (HNWI)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience working with multiple entities and complex account structures
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Excel
• CPA or CPA-track highly preferred
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Professional discretion and ability to work independently

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to high-net-worth individuals or family office environments
• Experience with trusts, partnerships, or investment accounting
• Prior interaction with tax preparation and compliance processes
