We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team in Largo, Florida. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing system operations, ensuring seamless functionality for both end users and the organization. This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:• Manage and maintain Microsoft client and server operating systems, including Active Directory and Office 365.
• Provide technical support to staff and clients, addressing system issues and offering training as needed.
• Administer backup technologies to ensure data security and recovery capabilities.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco technologies to ensure reliable network connectivity.
• Maintain computer hardware and software systems, monitoring performance and addressing any irregularities.
• Implement and oversee Remote Desktop Services to support remote work capabilities.
• Ensure all systems are compliant with organizational policies and standards.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance.
• Conduct regular assessments of system security and recommend updates as necessary.• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a technical environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems, including server and client platforms, Active Directory, and Office 365.
• Experience in supporting and training staff or clients on system usage.
• Familiarity with Cisco technologies and backup solutions.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and system administration.
• Possession of a valid Florida Class “E” driver’s license and insurability under organizational policies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
