Job Description: The Quality Control Supervisor oversees the Quality Department and work activities to develop, implement, and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems. Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods, procedures, testing, and company product reliability. Participates in reviewing engineering designs to contribute quality requirements and considerations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generate and conduct audit activities related to inspection work instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Liaison for first article inspections, source inspections, D esignated Q uality R epresentative (DQR), and customer reviews.
• Investigate incoming R eturn M aterial A uthorization (RMA’s) and determine disposition.
• Investigate and communicate non-conformances to manufacturing and upper management through weekly
• M aterial R eview B oard (MRB) informational meetings.
• Investigate and initiate corrective and preventative actions internally/externally.
• Oversee AS9100 Quality Management System to ensure product standards.
• Collaborate with visual inspection/test to conform to customer specifications and procedures.
• Conducts data analysis for statistical process control and root cause analysis.
• Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in the department process, materials, equipment, or skill as required.
• Create an environment that promotes excellent performance and positive morale.
• Hire, discipline, and termination of employees as required and per company policy.

Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of ISO-9000 and AS9100 experience required.
• IPC-A-610 &/or J-STD-001 Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of S tatistical P rocess C ontrols (SPC) methodology.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications
• Ability to develop, coach, and motivate their employees based on their strengths and discretion.
• Experience using MS Office (Specifically Excel, Word and Outlook)

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk, hear, see, and sit (extended periods), stand, walk, bend, and reach (both above and below the shoulder and move, carry, and lift objects as needed. Must be able to communicate effectively with others to exchange information.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance: Tri-Tech Electronics will only hire U.S. Citizens or lawfully authorized applicants to work in the United States.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work : This is a full-time position, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel: No travel is expected for this position.
