Pharmacy Technician for Clinical Trial Team
We are searching for a registered pharmacy technician to join our Clinical Trial team! This position is primarily responsible for dispensing investigational drug products and performing appropriate quality controls. All duties are performed under the supervision of a Lead Technician and a licensed pharmacist.
Tasks and Responsibilities:- Demonstrates knowledge of all pharmacy rules and regulations.
- Fills and packages the prescription orders correctly for investigational drug products based on specific protocols.
- Follows instructions given by the specific study protocols for the correct dispensing of investigational pharmaceutical products.
- Accurately enters prescription data into the computer system.
- Perform appropriate dispensing quality controls according to internal standards.
- Maintains proper storage and security conditions for investigational drugs.
- Maintains compliance with Company and HIPPA patient confidentiality requirements.
- Completes required training according to the company's training program and specific study protocols.
- Performs duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong listening skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a clean workspace.
- Ability to listen and follow instructions.
- An awareness of pharmacy regulations.
- Good computer skills (Microsoft office products, email, internet).
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
- Organizational and time management skills to coordinate daily tasks.
- Ability to shift and manage priorities to support team members and goals effectively.
- Ability to speak, write, read, and comprehend the English language effectively.
