We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic wealth management environment, supporting operational and client service activities. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial operations and thrive in a detail-oriented, fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:• Provide operational and client service support in a wealth management environment, ensuring smooth daily processes.
• Process key financial activities such as subscription documents, wire transfers, reconciliations, and administrative client requests.
• Maintain and update client accounts, generate reports, and streamline operational workflows.
• Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers to deliver timely and accurate client services.
• Respond promptly to service requests while maintaining high levels of accuracy and professionalism.
• Assist with the preparation of internal reports and tracking of key data metrics.
• Utilize portfolio management and custodial platforms to support operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards in all processes.• Previous experience in client services within wealth management or asset management.
• Strong knowledge of financial operations, accounting principles, and financing concepts.
• Proficiency in handling back-office operations and managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain accuracy.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within a small team.
• Familiarity with industry platforms such as Black Diamond, Addepar, or Wealthscape is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills, including reporting, reconciliation, and data review.
• Experience supporting firms undergoing growth or acquisition activities is a plus.
