Applications Development Analyst, Advanced

Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Applications Development Analyst, Advanced for  our client located in Tallahassee, FL.

This position is onsite in Tallahassee, FL, and requires in-person availability starting day 1. 

Job Overview:

• Work closely with customers, business analysts, and OIT team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
• Involved in the full systems life cycle and responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget.
• Make recommendations towards the development of new code or the reuse of existing code.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of two (2) years of programming/systems analysis experience.
• Experience working closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand and document business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
• Experience in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget.
• Experience in making recommendations towards the development of new code or the reuse of existing code.
• Highly proficient in both spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in systems analysis, design, development, and integration methodologies with Oracle databases.
• Experience in web application development using Web API.
• Experience in code development using JavaScript and related frameworks.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience with Microsoft .NET framework to include Classic ASP.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
