Line Cooks
Restaurant in Little Havana. Bistro 8, part of Michelin awarded Showa Hospitality group ( will be a traditional bistro styled fine dining restaurant with a Mexican inspired menu. Executive chef Pancho Ibanez, has crafted a beautiful Mexican cuisine. This concept will serve to fine dining standards in an upscale casual environment.

Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices
- Support food safety protocols by adhering to health regulations and sanitation procedures at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours, contributing to a smooth kitchen operation
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating with precision and care
- Participate in catering events or special functions as needed, providing excellent food service that exceeds expectations
Skills
- Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with specialized meal requirements
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling within restaurant or food industry environments
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation for various cuisines or dietary needs
- Experience with fine dining service standards and attention to detail in plating and presentation
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper kitchen hygiene procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards during peak hours
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure seamless service delivery
