**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for the location.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
+ Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations according to established procedures.
+ Communicate professionally with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and visitors, providing assistance and guidance as required.
+ Maintain awareness of assigned location policies, post orders, and specific requirements related to an armed patrol post in an aerospace and defense environment.
+ Handle access control and verify credentials for individuals entering restricted areas, ensuring compliance with location protocols.
+ Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies, alarms, and other security-related events while on patrol.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles is required.
+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
