Overview:
Barge Operator / Fleet Manager of a marine construction company. Kalvin & Calvin Marine Construction, LLC (Kalvin) is a leading Naples, FL based marine contractor. With deep roots in Collier County, Florida, we have been instrumental in building and repairing waterfront landmarks across the region.

We are seeking a seasoned maritime and marine construction professional to ensure the efficient and safe operation and management of our barges and on-water assets.

Qualifications

Knowledge of barge operation and waterway navigation, equipment maintenance and maritime regulations.

Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges, soliciting ideas and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

Operations Management:

All aspects of vessel operations including vessel scheduling, mobilization and secure storage while adapting to project changes and weather conditions.

Fleet Management:

· Develop and execute strategies to optimize fleet performance

· Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of spare parts and supplies for the fleet

Safety and Regulatory Compliance:

· Comply with all relevant maritime regulations, industry standards, and company policies

· Conduct regular inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks

· Provide guidance and training to vessel crews on procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

-Knowledge of marine construction barge operation

· Crane, excavator and other heavy equipment operation
